Spent at great evening with Kerry at the Biofluorescence/UV recently absolutely fascinating. As ever Kerry full of knowledge and enthusiasm throughout the time.
Saw the outdoors in a totally different perspective using UV torches in total darkness. Would highly recommend this session to anyone interested in the outdoors.

This is a hidden gem!!! Just had an AMAZING afternoon learning foraging from Kerry!
There is something for everyone (who like being outside.) There was so much information covered about each plant.
It was so much more than, "see this, yeah you can eat it."
Folklore, plant lore, healing, cooking (with some lovely recipes!), identifying, preparing & of course... "...you can eat this."
While fascinating you with her plant knowledge Kerry has a way to warp time & it flies by!!!
Then out pop samples of things you can do with the plants!!! They are so luscious!!! Left me smacking my lips and holdin up my bowl.... "can I have more please!?"
It's a great experience if your on your own or a group/couple!!!
I'll definitely be joining another course as the seasons change!
But for now.... I'm off for a walk and to put my new found skills to use & have lunch on route! 😁😜

We had a fantastic foraging experience with Kerry. The 3.5 hours flew by and we learned so much about the countryside we thought we knew! Kerry’s in-depth knowledge meant we had an educational, entertaining and thoroughly enjoyable experience and we will definitely be joining more events and trying our hand at foraging. And some the recipe ideas too.

I attended a foraging course today in Holt Country Park, Norfolk and what a fabulous experience. The organisation was spot on, assisted by clear and detailed joining instructions. The venue was perfect and the instructor Kerry, (who is the font of all knowledge), made the session extremely interesting and above all fun. I can't recommend the course, the company and Kerry highly enough. Thank you.

Highly Recommend for anyone wanting to get into foraging! Had a session with Kerry, she was very knowledgeable and made the experiance both interesting and entertaining. Will definately be coming back!

Very interesting afternoon walk, learnt a lot more than we expected about mushrooms, fungi, trees and general horticulture. Kerry was highly knowledgeable and made it all very accessible. The pre-course email was excellent - no room for questions or misunderstanding. The course does entail a lot of standing still for long periods so dress warmly. We tried some delicious mushroom soup, and must have found around 20 different varieties of mushroom. Kerry's excitement at finding a parrot wax cap was infectious, and seeing the 'disney' red and white mushroom (fly agaric) and hearing all the medicinal uses for the birch polypore were particular highlights.

£60 down the drain!
Make sure you read the terms and conditions fully before booking with this company.
I was really looking forward to going on their foraging course which I had booked for the end of September (over 2 months in advance). After booking I quickly realised that I had booked for a day that I couldn't go. I emailed the company straight away to request that I changed to another day only to be told in so many words.. "no chance!"
I appreciate that booking on this course for a day that I was unable to attend was my error and I have read the terms and conditions but for The Foraging Course Company to offer me nothing on another day even as a good will gesture is very poor.
Next time I will book a course with a different company, called Totally Wild UK who offer a course in foraging and cooking for a full day rather than 3.5 hours solely foraging, for roughly the same price.
Totally Wild Food LTD also state in their terms and conditions that they understand that events arise that may be out of their clients control and for a £10 charge allow you to amend your booking. Sounds very fair and they will be getting my custom in the future.

Such an amazing day, I learnt soooo much! The course was very informative and Kerry and Kev were Uber professional and knowledgeable. I couldn’t recommend highly enough; I now have confidence to identify some common species and furthermore know how to use them as Kerry and Kev provided some recipes too! I will be back to do another course in the Autumn for another exciting day out, hopefully identifying mushrooms 🙂
