I am very disappointed with the attitude and service offered by The Funky Peach Printers today. Arena Boxing Club has been using their services since 2016, and as a club, we’ve spent over £5,000 with them. Our coaches have also patronized this company for their own work attire and various items. Altogether, we must have spent over £10,000 between us.
Despite the possibility of finding better prices online, we have all been happy to pay a little extra to support a local business. However, it seems that loyalty is a one-way street.
This morning, I visited the shop to pick up a personal work order and inquired about some gilets for our coaches. I noticed they stocked the exact same gilets we usually get from Boxfit. Thinking to support them, I decided I’d pay the extra 12% and order locally.
However, I was informed that I would have to pay a £20 embroidery setup fee. I mentioned our longstanding relationship and the thousands of pounds we’ve spent there, noting they’ve had our logos for nearly a decade. Yet, I was told one of our logos had not been digitized and this required an additional charge. I was told £20 was an industry standard fee for this service, which is not entirely accurate. A quick online search shows that companies charge between £5-£20, with £20 being at the higher end.
When I expressed my dissatisfaction about this, pointing out that no other business would try to add an extra £20 on top considering the volume of business we had given them, I was met with sneers and a dismissive response of, 'We know what we're doing”.
What you've accomplished is alienating the customers who have supported your growth from day one. Arena Boxing Club, along with myself, will no longer be using your services.

The team did a great job. I called around the local area for quotes and The Funky Peach Team were the best by far. I wasn't to sure what I wanted/needed but a simple design from Nick and Will. I was well on my way. Quicker than stated I had a phone call and email to say my items were ready collect. Great quality for a great price. Would 100% use again.

Absolutely brilliant company! Ordered a roller banner and flyers from them and was dealing with Dave Wallace. Customer service was fantastic, talked me through the whole process and reassured me all would be taken care of despite me giving them a small turnaround window. Did everything they said they would, quality of product was great and value for money is an understatement. If you are looking for a company that you can trust then definitely give these guys a try.
