Booked for the valentines afternoon tea. First time going after wanting to go for months (just struggle to find time). But my god the food was excellent. Lovely warm welcome and all round great service. Will definitely be booking in future and popping in when can. Highly recommend.

I ordered a birthday cake for my son this weekend as we are 3,500 miles apart and you’ve got to have cake on your birthday, right! They delivered the most magnificent red velvet and cream cheese tower when we happened to be video calling; hearing the guy wishing Edward a very happy birthday when he opened the door brought a lump to my throat. Needless to say, the cake is, as always from The Kitchen, exceptional and half of Croxley are enjoying it with him!

id booked an afternoon tea for my mother in laws birthday somewhere else but when we arrived the other restaurant had forgotten the booking. Having been let down, I googled afternoon tea in the area and The Kitchen Croxley came up, i called them in a panic with my mother in law and asked if they could do an afternoon tea for us. They were great, we arrived 15 mins later and they had a table all set up for us with our name on, the afternoon tea itself was absolutely amazing, i love a scone with cream and jam, and these were delicious, honestly there was so many cakes i took some home for my kids as we couldn't eat them all. They also absolutely loved them, especially these chocolate heart cakes that were really nice. The Kitchen genuinely bent over backwards for us and turned my mums birthday into a lovely day. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back.

Never been for an afternoon tea before so took my Mum, who also has never been to one, to The Kitchen. The staff were so lovely and welcoming and the food was amazing. So much choice, we even had cakes to spare so took them home in a box. The cakes were so good. Highly recommend for lunch, afternoon tea or just a coffee, which was also really good.

My mum and sister were invited to enjoy an afternoon tea and absolutely loved it. My mum has had the opportunity to try afternoon teas in many fancy places, however, she stated that this was one of the best experiences she has ever had. Linda made them feel incredibly welcome, as did the two staff members, Lily and Lil, who served them. Every single item on the table was locally sourced and freshly made each day at the venue. Something you can taste when eating the cakes, scones and sandwiches, which are simply delicious. Leaving with boxes filled with leftovers, I know it won’t be long before they go back for more, as they were so impressed by it all. Linda should be incredibly proud of everything she has created. It is truly fantastic and we couldn’t recommend it enough.

We ordered cake platters (standard and vegan) and a fruit platter for a memorial gathering. The platters were beautifully presented and everything was absolutely delicious. There were many compliments from those attending on how good the cakes were. Thank you so much.

What a fabulous find as rain dampened our planned walk. Stopped off for coffee and a bite to eat. Food was delicious. Staff were really lovely. The café itself has a wonderful vibe. Very clean and welcoming. Outside seating available. I'll definitely be returning...maybe for afternoon tea next time.

I met up with some friends for an afternoon tea and it was delicious! My friend had booked it all so we had a table reserved. I am gluten-free and the gluten-free afternoon tea was just amazing! I was really excited by all the delicious cakes and even more excited to see scones! They were warm and absolutely delicious. The afternoon tea was served on a separate stand to make sure it was kept apart.
Would definitely recommend for an afternoon tea, gluten-free or normal!
