Terrible customer service. One of the staff members was extremely rude, making up 'laws' on the spot without any prior notice, clear explanation, or notice. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful towards customers. Would not recommend

Homemade Indian food available for order here. We tried the options on Tuesday and they were all fantastic. Highly recommended and far better than you would find in most takeaways

Post office website says the post office shuts at 9pm

Go into the shop and told it shut at 8pm and the shop assistant or manager or owner whatever is going home soon at 9pm.

Excellent village shop and post office. Very well stocked range of fresh foods, cupboard staples, wines and spirits and newspapers and magazines. Very friendly and efficient service from Raj and the team. Special measures in place to allow for social distancing.

Welford would be lost without this shop. It's been a godsend having such a good range of items and the post office just a walk away. In fact I often come away with more than I went in for!
The guys provide a personal service and even when busy manage a smile.
They've outdone bigger stores with their signage reminding everyone about the need for social distancing and on the odd occasion there's been a lot of customers a simple but effective queuing system outside has been in place.
Having also assisted in getting supplies to the more vulnerable residents of the village I really don't think they could do more.

I have to congratulate the team on keeping the shop open and as well stocked as they have at such a difficult time.
They have all chosen to continue working, and in doing so put themselves at extra risk in order to keep a vital service for the locals running and saving us from having to venture further afield.
