Just had a 1 night stay at this hotel which our son treated us to. Very pleasantly surprised. Rooms are to a very high standard. Food was lovely and catered for my allergen. Staff very pleasant and friendly and intentive, nothing was to much trouble. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed here after the Suffolk Coast Path 50k and ate there in the evening. Sat in the Snug which was a nice. Staff were very attentive and got our order quickly which was good as daughter was hangry. Start with bread and olives which were delicious. For the main my wife had the rump steak, daughter had children’s spaghetti and I had nachos. My wife said the steak was the best steak she’d ever had, my daughter loved the spaghetti which was a generous portion for a child and came with garlic focaccia and the nachos were delicious. We ordered some extra chips (I had run 50k that day!) and they were very nice. The waiter recommended a lager - flint eye - which was really nice, and we’d never drink before. My daughter and I had Belgian waffles for dessert, which were very nice. We were then able to sit and play cards for a while before heading up to bed. Room was very nice and clean. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay so nice.

Haven't been in the rooms so couldn't comment on what they are like. However the food and service is great, went in on Sunday 5th January and my son needed a clean nappy. They don't have changing facilities but was shown to one of the upstairs bathroom that the guest use.

Dog friendly in certain seating area. Popped in for dinner. Very pleased we could take our dog in. Had the best plant based burger I've ever had, full of flavour. Great service and very friendly. Definitely go back.

Went here for dinner and had the most amazing meals and service! My Son's comment was, "this is the best burger I've ever had". All the food was prepared to the best quality we've had in a long time. Harry our waiter was really lovely. It's dog friendly as well which is always good when we have our pooch with us on holiday. We'll definitely be back!!

Wonderful hand made pizzas every Thursday, they don't skimp out on vegan cheese either!

The staff were really quite friendly but the food was very beige and microwaved which was so disappointing as wetherspoons would serve up a much better or similar meal at half the price. We were expecting a much fresher meal. So disappointed but no one even asked us how our meal was so couldn't give them our feedback.
