Went to the family race day. As always, it was superb. All the staff we met were very pleasant and friendly and the horses ran in my favour... lots entertainment for the kids, and all the strong women looked after the kids while the men drank beer (joking) even the rain couldn't put dampener on the day.

I’ve been to a few events here in York. There certainly is massed of parking but if you arrive on foot signage is poor. I followed the path along the side, expecting to be able to get in higher up but actually had quite a walk and still had to go via the carpark.
The inside space is light and bright with lots of space to move around between the stalls at the Health and wellness event.
Plenty of toilet facilities and a large cafe
The bar area was not open. I did see a couple of cash machines but please note there is a fee to pay.

Excellent place for events (including horse racing!). Over the years I've attended trade fairs, comic cons, business events and car boot sales here, plus seen the racing! Easily accessible by car or public transport. Walking distance from the city if you are feeling energetic and close enough to the station for it to be a reasonable taxi fare. Plenty of parking availability and wheelchair accessible.

Visited this lovely venue yesterday for a meeting with @theweddingguideuk. The views across the racecourse were amazing and a trip to the champagne bar was a highlight of the morning! Rebecca our host was friendly, attentive and very welcoming.
If you are looking for a wedding venue then take a look at the Parade Ring room. It's amazing.

I was absolutely aghast by the lack empathy and common decency displayed at the York cafe and kitchen food outlet at the racecourse. While watching the choir sing at the Living North event, we got told that tables were for paying customers only. Fair enough but the guy also insisted a disabled person and small child got up even though there were plenty of seats. He was obviously relishing his job and showed absolutely no mercy.

Held a meeting in the Parade Ring Restaurant - what a beautiful venue!

Had our works Xmas dinner here and the food (fish dish) was good. Plenty to eat and loads of desserts with a cheese board of quality choices.
The organisation for so many people was a credit to the team and the band were great.
